Each year, Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania (ASWP) and Buffalo Creek Coalition partners reach over 1,500 people in the Buffalo Creek Watershed through weekly naturalist-led walks, landowner workshops, in-school programming, field trips, an annual watershed festival, and public programs. Check out the calendar or call (724) 295-3589 to learn about upcoming opportunities.

Special thanks to the following organizations for their support of Buffalo Creek education: Penn State Extension, Trout Unlimited-Arrowhead Chapter, Duquesne University, Armstrong Conservation District, Butler County Conservation District, Pennsylvania Game Commission, Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry, Butler-Freeport Community Trail Association, and PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Buffalo Creek is a special area – together, we can protect and even improve it. These educational programs offer people the opportunity to connect with nature, explore this unique region, and expand their knowledge on how we can each make a difference for the environment.
