Streambank Stabilization

On private property in Sarver, approximately 220 feet of streambank were stabilized and two rock veins were installed along Little Buffalo Creek for improved aquatic habitat.

Year

2022

Impacts

This project prevents an estimated 10.5 tons of sediment from entering Little Buffalo Creek annually. Sedimentation is a significant source of pollution in the watershed. Additionally, the 2 rock veins that were installed as part of the project improve aquatic habitat conditions.
